Information sent on behalf of South Yorkshire Police

Halloween can be an enjoyable time of year but for some people the festivities alongside the dark evenings can make them feel vulnerable. We know that Halloween and bonfire night can cause particular concerns around antisocial behaviour in communities. We ask you to be tolerant around this time as there may be more people on the streets in the evening enjoying the celebrations, but there is nothing to suggest that antisocial behaviour increases at this time of year. Please behave in a considerate and respectful manner to all, if you see a poster or notice in a window stating 'No Trick or Treaters Here' please be mindful and respect the house owners wishes. Most of all have fun and stay safe.
