Seasonal Safety Campaign

Alert message sent 22/10/2019 17:31:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear Citizen

This autumn, to help keep you safe, we have got together with our partners to organise a seasonal safety campaign which is especially relevant as we run up to darker nights, Halloween and bonfire night.  Come and see us in Walsall's Saddlers Shopping Centre on Monday 28th October between 10am and 1pm, or on Tuesday 29th between 1.30pm and 4pm.

The event will involve a number of agencies providing advice and support to visitors and shoppers on crime prevention, personal safety, using fireworks safely, hate crime, and also sign posting to diversionary activities and employment and educational support.
We anticipate that the following agencies will be involved:
Walsall Council Community Safety Team
Fire Service
Walsall For All
Black Country Innovate (Hate Crime reporting)
Walsall College
Black Country Impact
Walsall Works
The Watch – The Watch Community Safety Hub.

The attached poster can be shared with your friends and neighbours, please encourage them to come and see us.
