Men charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply

Two men have been charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply following a morning of action by our Proactive Unit in Derby.

Majeed Ahmed (30) and Zakhir Ahmed (18), of Clarence Road, Normanton, are due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 22 October).

They have both been charged with possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply.

The Proactive Unit conducted a warrant at a house in Clarence Road yesterday. A 57-year-old woman arrested at the property has been released under investigation while inquiries continue while a 15-year-old boy who was arrested has been released and is no longer part of the investigation.
