Appeal for witnesses to theft from van and garage in Moreton

Officers are appealing for witnesses to a theft from a van and garage which took place in Moreton-in-Marsh last week.

The theft is believed to have taken place on Fosseway Avenue at some point between 5.30pm on Thursday (17 October) and 7am on Friday (18 October).

It was reported that unknown offenders had forced entry to a Peugeot Panel Van and garage before stealing cash and power tools.

If you were in the area at the time or saw any suspicious activity we'd like to hear from you. Anyone with information or CCTV footage is asked to call 101 quoting incident 51 of 18 October.

There were a number of reports that vehicles had been entered in the North Cotswolds during this time and residents are being asked to ensure that their vehicles are locked when unattended.
