Halloween trick or treat posters

Alert message sent 30/10/2019 18:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Surrey Police

It’s only a matter of hours until Halloween, but there’s no need to be scared, especially with our handy poster that you can print out and display tomorrow.

Always check who is knocking before you open your door and use door chains and spy holes to help you to identify who it is. Don’t feel pressured to open the door and call 101 to report anyone acting suspiciously.

If you’re out trick or treating tomorrow night please be respectful of people’s wishes if they don’t answer the door. We’d also ask you to remember to lock up and leave a light on before leaving home. Burglars aren’t choosy about which night they might try to break in.
