Appeal after Poole Keynes burglary victim hospitalised

A woman from the Cotswolds received treatment in hospital after returning home to find her house had been burgled yesterday.

It is believed the victim's condition was brought on by the shock of discovering her house on Oaksey Road, Poole Keynes, had been ransacked and thousands of pounds worth of jewellery stolen.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who has information to come forward.

The burglary happened some time between lunchtime and 8pm yesterday (Friday 18 October).

Unknown offenders forced entry before making off with a large quantity of jewellery.

The victim continues to recover and enquiries are ongoing.

Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident 375 of 18 October.
