Images of tools seized during vehicle theft investigation released

We’re releasing images of tools that may have been stolen, which were seized during a vehicle theft investigation in Wonersh.

The items were recovered as part of enquiries relating to an investigation which earlier this month saw a 49 year-old man from Hampshire jailed at Guildford Crown Court
 
On Sunday 1 September number plates were stolen from a VW Golf in Bramley. Two days later a makeup bag and £227 were stolen from a Silver Ford Focus in Wonersh. Also on Tuesday 3 September a Nissan Juke was stolen from Wonersh and driven dangerously on Park Road in Guildford.
 
The man from Hampshire that was subsequently arrested for the two thefts from motor vehicles, aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and without insurance, pled guilty and was sentenced to 22 months in prison on Wednesday 3 October.
