Rural Crime Week - Dont Drink and Drive

Alert message sent 11/10/2019 23:24:00

Information sent on behalf of Gloucestershire Constabulary

Forest Neighbourhood Policing team were out focusing on a Drink Drive Campaign across the Forest this evening as part of the Rural Crime Week. From recent intelligence that has been gained from our communities, it appears that Drink Driving is on the increase. Sergeant Mark Burns organised for PC’s, Special Constables and PCSO’s to concentrate on delivering the ‘Don’t Drink and Drive’ message.

Within a few minutes of stopping a vehicle in Berryhill, a male was arrested after providing a positive breath test. We want our communities to be a safe place to live, so please consider when drinking alcohol, do not drive.
