Alert message sent 10/10/2019 16:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Gloucestershire Constabulary

Events and patrols are taking place in the Cotswolds over the next three days as part of the Wildlife and Rural Crime Week of Action.

Our Community Engagement Vehicle (CEV) will be at the Bourton-on-the-Water Co-op between 10am-4pm tomorrow (Friday 11 October) with local officers talking to people about  issues including burglaries in rural areas and how to protect your property. Burglary patrols will be continuing throughout the Cotswolds over the weekend.

Rural officers will also be at Tallis Amos Group near Bibury during Friday working with the company to offer reduced price CESAR marking for agricultural machines.

Then on Saturday (12 October), our Community Engagement Vehicle (CEV) will be in Cirencester for market day, along with our rural officers and a range of equipment and vehicles the team uses to combat wildlife and rural crime in the area.

Please come along to learn more.

These initiatives are all part of our compassionate approach to policing in rural areas and our commitment to maintaining a green and pleasant county, both important parts of our police and crime plan. You can find out more here: www.gloucestershire-pcc.gov.uk/police-and-crime-plan-priorities/
