Here are the latest crimes recorded on our systems for Melton Mowbray and the surrounding villages.  If after reading this update there is anything you would like to notify Leicestershire Police about please make contact via Neighbourhood Link.

11 Sep (00:00) – 3 Oct (12:00): Beckmill Lane, Melton Mowbray – lead flashing stolen from premises currently under repair.
Vehicle Crime
3 Oct (18:00) – 4 Oct (09:30): Jubilee Avenue, Asfordby – secure van and car broken into and tools stolen from van.
5 Oct (00:54): Main Road, Asfordby – thieves disturbed whilst cutting a hole in rear panel of van in an attempt to steal items from within.
5 Oct (08:54): Houghton Close, Asfordby – secure vehicle broken into (forcing lock on back door), a drill was stolen.
4 Oct (23:00) – 5 Oct (08:00): Blenheim Walk, Melton Mowbray – secure van broken into and tools stolen.
Burglary non dwelling
8 Oct (09:20): Buckminster Road, Coston – workshop broken into and quad bike stolen.
Criminal Damage
6 Oct (15:10 – 15:35): Main Street, Buckminster – hare courses damage 4 fields of oil seed rape.
5 Oct (17:00 – 17:30): Staveley Road, Melton Mowbray – persons unknown have damaged a fence by throwing a brick at it.
2 Oct (18:00) – 7 Sep (16:30): Swan Close, Melton Mowbray – secure vehicle had front panel keyed.
