Burglaries in the Roundhay area

Afternoon everyone,
Just to make you aware of an increase in burglaries within the Roundhay area over the weekend period. Please see details below:
1) Burglary residential in the Devonshire Avenue area. Occurred at 06.55 on 05/10/2019. The attacked premises is a garage which is attached the house unknown suspect tries the door handle on the garage door in order to gain access, no access is gained. Suspect tries door handle on car parked on the drive, no access gained again suspect makes off on foot. Reference number 13190511222.
2) Burglary residential in the Beaumont Avenue area. Occurred between 21.00 on 05/10/2019 and 09.00 on 06/10/2019. Attacked premises is a detached shed in the rear garden of location. Between times stated unknown suspect/s gain entry by attacking lock, once inside remove property and make off with same unseen and in unknown direction. Reference number 13190512703.
3) Burglary residential in the Talbot Court area. Occurred between 05/10/2019 at 11.30 and 06/10/2019 at 09.00. Suspect/s snap side door handle but cannot break lock so smash side door window and gain access to property. Take car keys from side table and leave in vehicle. Vehicle is a BMW 320 in white vehicle registration YF67HKH. If seen please see contact the Police straight away. Reference number 13190512636.
4) Burglary residential in the West Park Drive area. Occurred between 05/10/2019 at 11.00 and 06/10/2019 at 14.30. Victim has been away overnight to come to find house has been burgled. Reference number 13190513142.

Please note there will be increased police patrols in the area due to the recent increase. There will be patrols in high visibility (PCSO's and marked police cars) and unmarked police cars. All victims are burglary are given a reassurance visit by our PCSO's to see if there is anything we can assist with and give any crime prevention advice. We also offer a visit from our crime prevention team who can offer more tailored advice with regards to security in the home.
