BUGBROOKE Georges Avenue

Alert message sent 05/10/2019 17:48:00

Information sent on behalf of Northamptonshire Police

Last night I became aware of a post on local social media about a vehicle in Georges Avenue, Bugbrooke that was thought to be acting suspicious. This attracted subsequent comments of "low life" hanging around the village.

A check was done on the Police National Computer and it was established the the vehicle was indeed registered in the Georges Avenue area and was not known to the Police.

We can confirm the incident was not reported to the Police, and the local PCSO was on duty and in the village.

Importantly it could of been a suspicious vehicle, on this occasion it wasn't and I was able to see the post on social media but this is not always the case.

If you see something you feel is suspicious, please call it in either using the non-emergency number 101, or if it is an emergency 999.

If you do not wish to hold for our control room on the non-emergency number you do have the option of your call being put through to my mobile phone, just ask for "Matt Taylor" it will give you two options, I'm the one in Towcester.
