Alert message sent 05/10/2019 11:02:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Please join us as we raise awareness of crime in the West Oxfordshire countryside during our Rural Crime Week, 6 – 3 October 2019.  By working together we can achieve better knowledge sharing and suitable resourcing to disrupt and prevent both opportunistic and organised crime in our more rural communities.
Our Neighbourhood Policing Teams will be involved in Local Community Engagement with Farm/Landowners in the following areas:
7 Oct ‘19        The Wychwoods
8 Oct ‘19         Chadlington/Kingham
8 Oct ‘19         North Leigh
8 Oct 19          Filkins/Langford/Kelmscott
9 Oct ‘10         Long Hanborough
10 Oct ’19       Stonesfield/Combe
10 Oct ‘19       Tackley/Rousham
11 Oct ‘19       Standlake/Stanton Harcourt

If you are a farm or land owner near to any of the above locations, or indeed if you live or work in or near to these areas, please make full use of these opportunities to prevent yourselves, your farm and your land becoming prey to rural crime.
If you require further advice, please call 101 and ask to speak to your local neighbourhood policing team.
