Rural Watch - Update

Alert message sent 26/09/2019 09:35:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

Dear Member,

I have just returned from an extended period of ill health.

It has been nice to see that our membership has continued to increase during this time, but I apologise for our reduced contact - which will now be returned to weekly contact when possible.

As always, please remember, there is nothing irrelevant to our Policing of the rural areas. If you see or hear anything that you think is out of the ordinary please contact us on 101 for non-emergency, 999 for emergency or via Rural Watch if wishing to feed in any information that does not require an immediate response.

An issue that has been highlighted is speed in rural areas and this is being addressed.

Coming into the darker nights through the autumn & winter months, we ask everyone to be vigilant and to maintain household and business premises security standards. If you require any advice on crime prevention, please do not hesitate to make contact and this can be discussed.

If any Rural Watch signage is required by any Community Council or representing group for an area or village, again please send me a message.

In the meantime, thank you for your continued support to Rural Watch.

Regards

Donald MacKay
