Another burglary offender off the streets

Alert message sent 20/09/2019 15:06:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Officers from the Holbrooks, Radford, Sherbourne and Bablake NPT have today arrested a 15 year old male in relation to a recent Burglary on Bennetts Road South.

Please remember at this time of year when the nights are getting darker to make sure your home is not a target for burglars. Burglars choose homes where there are no visible signs of protection such as alarms or security lighting, and where trees and high bushes provide good cover. Something as simple as locking doors and shutting windows in unoccupied rooms can make a big difference. Make sure if you leave the property you leave some lights on to give the appearance someone is home. A light timer switch is fairly cheap to buy and can be easily fitted to operate radios and lights when you are out.

if you see anything suspicious then you can report it on 101 or by going online to www.west-midlands.police.uk/contact-us/live-chat
