ETON & ETON WICK:

Excellent meeting Wednesday evening at the Eton Wick Village Association.  We went through the crime figures, which are low - 2 recent Courier Frauds in the village, so can everyone be on their guard and watch this video on YouTube.  Sue is a local actress, it was a dramatic reconstruction, from an actual recent case:

18/9 - 19/9  Wednesday 9.30 p.m./ Thursday 7.30 a.m.  Broken Furlong, Eton.  Burglary.  Access via utility room window left open and forced inner door.  Car keys and a white Audi A1 index X ** DMK stolen.
19/9  Thursday 3 p.m. / 6.30 p.m.  Church Close, Eton.  Burglary - The owner returned and found someone had been in the house - UNKNOWN MEANS OF ENTRY - purse and Play station stolen.  There were later attempts to use the cards from the purse.
18/9  Wednesday 10 a.m. / 1.30 p.m.  Car Park, Meadow Lane.  The owner of one car went back to their car and saw a car nearby with a rear window smashed.
17/9 - 19/9  Tuesday 8 p.m. / Thursday 7.50 a.m.  Atherton Court, Meadow Lane.  Car rear windscreen smashed - Mulberry handbag stolen.

DATCHET, HORTON & WRAYSBURY:
20/9  Friday 5 a.m.  Windsor Road, Wraysbury.  Shop burglary.  CCTV shows 4 men wearing balaclavas smashed their way into the shop.  One of the tills stolen for the float.
 
OLD WINDSOR:

15/9 - 18/9  Sunday midnight / Wednesday 8.10 p.m.  Albert Cottages, Datchet Road.  Bike chained up at the front of a house stolen.  A green, Pashley, hybrid bike.
