Car cruise passes without incident
A car cruise in Peterborough passed without incident over the weekend after a dispersal order was implemented to prevent drifting.

The order, which enabled police to move people on from an area where they suspected their behaviour was anti-social, was in place between 6pm on Friday (6 September) and 10am on Sunday (8 September).

Man charged with six counts of vehicle interference
A man has been charged with a number of offences relating to vehicle crime in Peterborough.

Paul Priestley, of Scalford Drive, Peterborough, was arrested yesterday evening (Sunday, 8 September) in connection with vehicle interference in Lyvelly Gardens, Parnwell.

Police dog tracks down boy with a sword
A boy has been arrested after Police Dog Krow tracked down the sword he had discarded.

The 16 year old was seen on CCTV at around 3am this morning (10 September) in possession of a weapon near Railworld Wildlife Haven in Oundle Road, Peterborough.

Disqualified driver caught one day after receiving suspended sentence
A Peterborough man who was caught driving without a license just one day after receiving a suspended sentence for the same offence has been put behind bars.

Tiago Sequeira, 26, was stopped in Bridge Street, Peterborough, at about 2pm on 17 May.

Three charged with burglary
Two men and a woman have been charged with a number of offences, including burglary, in the Peterborough area.

Andrew Harding, 37, and Leah Harding, 31, both of Myrtle Avenue, Peterborough, were arrested yesterday (Wednesday, 11 September) and charged in connection with a burglary in Almond Road, Peterborough.

Neighbourhood officer boost for Cambridgeshire
This month sees the start of a boost in neighbourhood officers across Cambridgeshire.

The first 30 of 50 new neighbourhood police officers have begun settling into their posts with the remaining being filled in January 2020.

Teen who 'wanted to stab someone' sentenced
A teenager who carried a folding knife in Peterborough and told police she wanted to hurt someone with it has been sentenced.

Tori Griffiths, of Broadway Gardens, Peterborough, confided in someone that she had armed herself with a multi-purpose utility tool containing a 2.5 inch knife blade on 11 April this year.

Brothers jailed for knifepoint robbery
Two brothers have been jailed for carrying out a knifepoint robbery on a group of friends in Peterborough.

Devon and Mason Cox approached the group of six by the entrance of Werrington Recreation Ground, near Hastings Road, in Werrington, at about 9pm on 3 July.

Woman knocked unconscious at Christmas party
A man who launched a furious drink-fuelled attack on a woman at a Christmas party, knocking her unconscious, has been jailed.

Mark Deal, 50, was holding a wine glass when he lunged at the victim at the party at The Court Snooker and Pool Club, in Mallard Road, Peterborough, on 16 December last year.
