Burglaries up to 11th September


Between 10.45am & 1pm on 4th Sept a house on Grace Gardens was entered by smashing rear patio windows. All rooms searched with jewellery being stolen. Inc. 194  04-09-19 Benhall

Overnight of the 31st Aug 1st Sept a detached garage at the rear of a house in Sterling Court was entered by forcing the up & over door. Stolen was a red Carrara Hell Cat cycle. Inc. 312 05-09-19 St Marks

Between 6pm & 7pm on 5th Sept a male was seen to break into a shed using a garden spade, of a house in Malthouse Lane, and steal a black Trek Pilot Road bike. The cycle was subsequently recovered from a garden of a house in Manser Street. Inc. 115 06-09-19 St Pauls

Between 7pm & 10.30pm on 6th Sept a house in Alstone Avenue was entered by smashing a rear window with a statue from the rear garden. All rooms have been searched . A PS 4 was stolen amongst other items. Inc. 482 06-09-19
St Marks

At approx. 1pm on 7th Sept a white male was found in the rear garden of a house in Gloucester Road near to Scholars Court. He had been into the house conservatory from which items had been placed on the lawn. He left over a stream to the rear of the premises. Male desc: 6ft, 30 yrs, short brown hair wearing jeans and white T shirt. Nothing believed stolen Inc. 231 07-09-19
St Marks

Overnight of the 6th 7th Sept an attempt was made to force the detached garage door of a house in Wellington Square. No entry gained and nothing stolen. Inc. 277 07-09-19 Pittville

Recorded at 9.15pm on 7th Sept  on CCTV of a male entering a house Beeches Road, Charlton Kings via an insecure rear door. Nothing reported stolen at this time. Inc. 501 07-09-19 Charlton Kings

Overnight of the 8th 9th Sept a house in Charles Street was entered via an insecure window via a flat roof. Stolen from the house was a push bike, an IPad and two mobile phones Inc. 58  09-09-19 St Pauls

Between 9am & 5pm on 6th Sept a house in Pennington Court was entered via an insecure rear window. Premises searched with a TV and a watch stolen. Inc. 289 09-09-19 Hesters Way

Reported at 8.45pm on 10th Sept that 4 males had attempted to enter a house in Cold Pool Lane, Up Hatherley by smashing the rear glass door. The males were disturbed by a neighbour who had heard the noise. No entry gained, males ran from the rear garden pushing and punching the neighbour as they went. Nothing stolen but this may have been an attempt to take the Land Rover which was on the drive. The males were last seen in a silver Land Rover//Range Rover heading towards Shurdington Road. Up Hatherley

On Saturday 21st September there is a cycle security marking event being held at The East Glos. Tennis Club, Old Bath Road, Cheltenham from 10am to 2pm. It is free and each cycle marked will be entered on the National Cycle Data Base. This is an excellent chance to forensically mark your cycle and a Crime Prevention method.
