Information sent on behalf of Northamptonshire Police

Northamptonshire Police has charged a twentieth person in relation to an operation targeting an organised crime group suspected of recruiting children to facilitate class A drug dealing.
Georgia Wornes, aged 18, of Northolt, Ealing, in northwest London, will appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, August 19, charged with conspiracy to supply the class A drug crack cocaine, and conspiracy to supply the class A drug heroin.
Wornes was arrested in London on Wednesday, August 7, as part of Operation Serpent.
Operation Serpent has now seen a total of 20 people charged, with a number already brought before the courts and remanded in custody.
