18.90miles of cycle patrols conducted around the borough today by Police Community Support Officers Craig Blacha and Joshua Unsworth of which they have cycled around the Hemmingwell / Queensway / Redwell & Town Centre.

The Officers seized alcohol from five persons in Wellingborough Town Centre today on Midland Road and Orient Way Wellingborough.

Patrols conducted around the Redwell by Police Community Support Officers 7163 and Blacha in  relation to offences at business premises.

Police Community Support Officer Blacha submitted a licensing form for a breach of a stores alcohol license which is has been forwarded to the Licensing Team.

Lots of intelligence gathered and submitted by the team relating to Operation Viper which is Northamptonshire Police’s crackdown on serious organised crime.

One vehicle used in crime was seized by PCSO Unsworth on Kiln Way Wellingborough for No tax under the DVLA legislation.

Officers from Wellingborough Response Team seized a vehicle on Harvey Road Wellingborough from a driver who had no driving license no insurance and was arrested for a separate offence whilst PCSO’s awaited for the vehicle to be recovered so officers could transport prisoner to custody.

Member of the public reports parking obstruction on the castle ward area search no trace for vehicles obstructing.

One male was stopped by Police Community Support Officers in possession of a cannabis joint which was seized and a cannabis warning was issued by PC Nawaz after person was searched on Victoria Road Wellingborough.

later on in the late evening a youth was stopped in possession of cannabis and subsequently was taken home and will be invited in for an interview re:substances seized safeguarding referral completed.

All in all a very busy day :)
