Consultation on the availability of free sanitary products

Alert message sent 16/08/2019 13:52:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

Free sanitary products are now available in all of South Lanarkshire's schools and in many buildings run by the council, South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, NHS Lanarkshire and some voluntary organisations.

The products are available in the toilets and will be signposted by posters and stickers.

They will also be offered in packaged form to women vulnerable to period poverty, through midwives, health visitors, social workers, local charities and voluntary organisations.

We are now looking for your views on this scheme. Please fill in our survey to tell us what other products could also be made available.
