Residential Burglary Pype Hayes

Alert message sent 13/08/2019 19:52:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear Citizen,

Yesterday the Tyburn Neighbourhood Team attended an address on Parktree Walk, Pype Hayes, following a report of a burglary.

We were able to confirm that a burglary had occurred at the address using a method known as 'lock-snapping'. The offenders were able to gain access to the property but it is believed they were disturbed by the family dog and have left empty handed.

It is suspected that the offenders were looking to steal the residents car which was parked on the drive.

Enquiries into this incident have revealed that a dark coloured BMW or Audi, with two white males on board, was seen acting suspiciously in the area at about 03:00 hours in the morning on 12/08/2019.

All residents are reminded to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police either using the 101, 999 or Webchat services.

Kind regards,
Tyburn Neighbourhood Team.
