Neighbourhood Policing Update 
13th August 2019

Police Community Support Officers Blacha & C7163 part of team 1 Wellingborough Neighbourhood Team have been conducting cycle foot and patrols in vehicles today around Wellingborough Town & Rural.

The officers visited Irchester and issued a fixed penalty notice to a vehicle causing an obstruction  on High Street Irchester village.

Officers also received a report from a member of the public of a vehicle causing an obstruction on the croyland ward near Oxford Street,when officers arrived again they were unable to trace the owner and a fixed penalty notice was issued,shortly after the vehicle was moved.

PC Nawaz & Owen recieved a report of a driver under the influence of drugs in a vehicle in Wellingborough Town Centre vehicle located and investigation ongoing.

A complaint was also made by a member of the public of persons begging in and around Cambridgeshire Street this afternoon,officers searched the area but no trace in the description given,begging is a breach of Wellingborough Town Centres Public Spaces Protection Order.

PCSO Blacha also conducted a pop up event this morning and around Subway and Apple Sparks on the Redwell a good catch up with local businesses and residents,please remember to secure your personal possessions and property. #LockItorLoseit 

Team 1 Wellingborough Neighbourhood team now finished for the week and return this Friday Saturday and Sunday for the late shift.
