Young Drivers and Gangs

Alert message sent 26/07/2019 10:25:00

Information sent on behalf of Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner

OPFCC Youth Commission

Young people in Northamptonshire are being invited to join in the Big Conversation and tell the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner’s Youth Commission what they think about two key issues – gangs and young drivers.

Throughout the summer, the Youth Commission will be visiting community events and busy locations to meet as many young people aged 14-19 as possible and them to share their experiences. We want to know if they have ever felt unsafe as a passenger or driver, have they been approached to join a gang?  Who would they tell if they were?

There is also an online survey for 14-19 year olds to complete.  Everyone who takes part will have the opportunity to win Amazon vouchers up to the value of £50.

So if you work with or know young people aged 14 - 19 encourage them to take part and have their say!  Survey closes on 30 August 2019.
