Neighbourhood update and advice

Alert message sent 11/07/2019 20:04:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Good Evening

Your Local Neighbourhood Team along with other partner agencies visited several business establishments today in Alum Rock to conduct checks on licensing, health safety as well as immigration matters.

Police regular work together with partner agencies from Immigration, The home office, HMRC, Fire department, British Gas, Western Power as well as Birmingham City Council and Environmental Heath.

I would like to forward some sensible advice from the Fire department given to us today.
Please can you check your smoke alarms regularly to see if they still work?  Change the batteries regularly.  In the unlikely event of house fire the alarm will sound giving everyone time to escape.

Why not check the alarm this weekend.

If you do not have an alarm can I suggest purchasing one and fitting it as soon as possible?
