CCTV images released following theft in Banbury

Thames Valley Police is releasing images of two men officers would like to speak to in connection with a theft that took place in Banbury.

At approximately 11.30am on Thursday 27 June the victim, an 80-year-old woman, was shopping in Aldi on Ruscote Avenue.

It is believed that she was observed entering her pin number at the till point by two men.

The victim then moved to the bagging area where the men distracted her and took her purse.

The purse contained credit cards and a quantity of cash.
