Local crime update

Alert message sent 02/07/2019 11:14:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Good Morning everyone,

We are happy to inform you that there has been no vehicle crime or burglaries reported in the Merry Hill area since 24/06/2019. We hope this is due to the public taking our recent crime prevention advice.

However, we are aware that some crimes are being reported to social media sites such as local community group pages. Unfortunately a lot of these crimes do not get reported to us which means we are unaware of the crimes taking place. We advise to make sure that you report crime to the police so we are able to provide the best service we can to you and so that we are aware of the 'true' rates of crime in the your area.

You can report crime via 101 or through https://www.west-midlands.police.uk/contact-us/live-chat

Stay Safe!
