Alert message sent 24/06/2019 14:24:00

Information sent on behalf of Northamptonshire Police

Dear Neighbourhood Alert Member

We are committed to engaging with our community, by doing so it allows us to understand what affects you in the area of Northampton you live, work or socialise in.

Our Community Engagement plan ensures we gather your views to allow us to plan our priorities for the coming months. This is your opportunity to influence these priorities.

From your responses in April 2019 we identified the following as our priorities for 01 May to 31 July 2019:
Dwelling Burglary
Vehicle Crime and Nuisance

We have continued to visit every victim of dwelling burglary and conducting extensive house to house giving reassurance and crime prevention advice. Operation Neutrino has been visible in areas of high reports of off road motorcycle use, as well as responding to concerns of suspicious vehicles, making use of our powers where applicable. We have also continued to work with partner agencies to safeguard identified cuckooing addresses, using enforcement powers where appropriate.

We would be grateful if you could follow the link and spend a few minutes completing the survey at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LocallyIdentifiedPriorities
by 31 July 2019, this will identify our priorities for August to October 2019.

We will work with partner agencies to tackle the issues you tell us are important in your area. You can follow our updates on Twitter @NptonPolice.

Did you know you can now report crime and incidents online at: https://www.northants.police.uk/webform/online-crime-reporting

You can also message the Neighbourhood Team directly at NeighbourhoodTeamNorthampton@northants.pnn.police.uk but please do not use this to report incidents or crimes.

Kind Regards

Nick Paul
