crime report for Ashfield South week to 13 June 2019

Crimes reported for Hucknall and the Rural Villages over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling
Around 1am on Sunday 9 June in Alfreton Road, Pye Bridge, Selston a house was entered via a rear door. Not known if anything was stolen.

Overnight of the 8/9 June in Derby Road, Kirkby – in – Ashfield a house was entered via a rear window, a search had been made but not known if anything was stolen.

At around half past midnight on Saturday 8 June in Forest Street, Annesley Woodhouse a rear window of a house was damaged but no entry was gained.

At around 1.30am on Saturday 8 June in Portland Avenue, Annesley Woodhouse a house was entered via a rear window and some jewellery and Crown Derby pottery stolen.

At 12.15am on Saturday 8 June in Station Road, Selston a house was entered via an insecure door and bank cards and Xbox games were stolen.

Burglary Other
In the early hours of Tuesday 11 June a commercial property in Main Road, Jacksdale was broken into possibly by three men. Nothing was stolen.

Between midday and 2pm on Sunday 9 June at the Garden Road allotments, Hucknall a shed was broken into and two rotavators and a strimmer were stolen.  

Between 9pm on Tuesday 11 and 7am Wednesday 12 June in Fairview Avenue, Underwood a garage was broken into via a side door and a black and red Cube Stereo 140 mountain bike was stolen.

Theft of motor vehicle
Between 6pm on Saturday 8 and 6am Sunday 9 June in Chestnut Grove, Hucknall a Suzuki motor bike was stolen from a lean-to on a driveway.

Theft from motor vehicle
Between 7.50pm on Friday 7 and 5.10am Saturday 8 June in Shelton Avenue, Hucknall the number plates of a Vauxhall Zafera parked on a driveway were stolen.

At 10.30pm on Thursday 6 June in Salmon Lane, Annesley Woodhouse a Western Power Electrics generator on a 4 wheel trailer was stolen whilst being used at a property. The generator’s serial number began 51300.

Sometime before Monday 10 June in Moss Road, Hucknall some spray paint equipment was stolen from a trailer parked on a driveway.

Criminal Damage
Between 10.30pm on Thursday 6 and 2.30pm Friday 7 June in Sandy lane, Hucknall the tyres on a Peugeot 208 parked at the roadside ware slashed.
