Drugs Seized

Alert message sent 12/06/2019 18:56:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Dear Citizen

Good Evening

The Washwood Heath Neighbourhood Team executed a warrant at an address yesterday in Alum Rock, this was under the drugs act.  Officers uncovered a cannabis grow in two rooms, with a total of 50 plants.

This was dismantled and the drugs seized to be incinerated at a later date.
Housing officers working with West Midlands Police will be taking positive action regarding this matter also.

This is a really good result for our team.  Illegal drugs have been removed from our area.  This was only achieved through help from the community and intelligence gathered.
If you believe you known where there is a cannabis farm you can help West Midlands police.

Call on the non-emergency number. Telephone 101

Or crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.  You can even remain anonymous just tell us what you know.

Regards

PC 0200 Cunnion
