Information sent on behalf of Humberside Police

A burglary has been reported in your neighbourhood

Dear Resident,

Police have received a report that a dwelling burglary has occurred between 20:00 hours on Monday 29 April 2019 and 08:45 hours on Tuesday 30 April 2019 on STATION AVENUE in NEW WALTHAM, whilst the occupants were away on holiday.

It is believed that suspect(s) have approached the victim’s rear door before smashing the patio doors by unknown means and have entered the property. It is unknown at this time what property has been taken.

How can you help?
1. Were you at home during these times, near to the target address?
2. Did you see or hear anything suspicious during the above times?
3. Was there someone in the area that seemed out of place?
2. Have you got any CCTV that may place someone in the area that does not reside there?

If the answer is 'YES' to any of the above questions, could you please reply to this Community Alert or contact 101 and quote Investigation Number 16/53045/19.

If you are going away please do not advertise on social media, however please ask your neighbour to be vigilant and check the rear of property. If you hear a noise coming from outside your address or a neighbour please report it if anything appears out of place.

Kind Regards

David Cave
