Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Today the Bournville and Selly Oak neighbourhood Teams working with the Fire Service conducted a community speed watch in Middleton Hall Road and Umberslade Road. With members of the community using the speed gun, 15 vehicles were stopped and the drivers advised in Middleton Hall Road and 73 drivers were stopped and drivers advised in Umberslade Road. I would like to thank the members of the public who gave there time today to take part in the operation. We have more days booked in for the future as we again had some good results today. The information collected today as always goes back to the traffic department and the council as this will help improve road safety in the future. If you would like to take part in future operations please reply to this message or if you prefer my e-mail is p.blackford@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk
