Dear Resident

A vehicle crime has been reported in your neighbourhood
If you saw or heard anything or have any information about the below incident please call our non emergency number 101, quoting the reference number provided.
Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

Reference: 20SH/63900B/19.
Location: Cheswick Way, Cheswick Green.
Date and time:   Between 17:50pm and 18:20pm on Friday 15th March 2019.
Details: A secure grey Ford Kuga was stolen from the driveway. The vehicle had keyless entry and the fob was not stolen.

Please ensure where possible decent lighting and high quality CCTV equipment are installed and that it is placed high enough that it cannot be tampered with.

Installing a steering wheel lock, driveway parking post and/or a wheel clamp are great deterrents to car thieves. Please ensure that the keys to the steering wheel lock are kept separate to your car keys.

As an added protection against keyless theft you can also purchase a signal blocking pouch or tin, and install a tracking device to your vehicle to aid in the recovery should your vehicle be stolen.
