Community groups invited to take part in SEPA workshop on flooding
The following message has been circulated on behalf of SEPA :
We’re looking for community resilience groups in the Highlands to join a workshop on a new flood forecasting service for the public, and we’d love to hear your views!
This new service is being developed by the Scottish Flood Forecasting Service, a partnership between SEPA and the Met Office, to provide the public with information about expected flood risk across Scotland.
We are right at the beginning of the process and your feedback will be extremely valuable in helping us to design this service.
Workshops will take place during February and March 2019 in a venue and location that’s most convenient to you, and your expenses will be reimbursed.
Please share this message with anyone you know who would be interested.
If you would like to take part or find out more information, please contact Laura Paterson by emailing flooding@sepa.org.uk or calling 03000 99 66 99
