Alert message sent 30/01/2019 13:27:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

A man has been jailed for two years and four months after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs (cocaine).

Habib St George Forster, aged 25, of Coltsfoot Close, Amesbury, appeared at Salisbury Crown Court on 25 January.

Forster was found to be in possession of class A drugs by staff at the Kings Arms pub in Amesbury on 18 November 2017.

When staff alerted officers, Forster attempted to make off from the scene but was detained.

He was taken to custody and a search was carried out at his address – drugs paraphernalia and class A drugs were located and evidence of drug dealing was found on his mobile phone.

Local Crime Investigator Kirsten Woodward said: “Forster has previous convictions for drug offences in Sweden and has now been given a custodial sentence for his offending in this country. I am pleased that we have been able to prevent a quantity of class A drugs reaching some of the most vulnerable people within society.

“If you suspect drug activity in your area, it is vital that you report it to police on 101 – all information we receive helps us build an intelligence picture so we can take the most appropriate action, whilst protecting vulnerable members of our community.”
