Further arrests made in connection with firearms incident in Reading

Thames Valley Police has made two further arrests in connection with a firearms incident that occurred in Norfolk Road, Reading, last month.

A 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, both from Reading, were arrested yesterday (16/1) on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, possession with intent to supply a class B drug and possession of a firearm with intent to injure.

It’s in connection with a shooting in Norfolk Road on 15 December 2018 when a man in his thirties was shot in the leg.

The victim has since been discharged from hospital.

The two men arrested remain in police custody at this time.
