Unfortunately two vans have been broken into in Stenson Fields overnight from the 09/01/19 to 10/01/19. Many tools have been stolen. One incident occurred along Bicester Avenue and the other Merevale Way.

We are unsure how entry has been gained. If you are a van owner please follow the advice below to prevent yourselves being a victim of a crime:

Avoid leaving tools in your van.
Security mark your tools with either smart water, or etch your initials and post code on your tools.
Avoid having your tools out on show outside your house.
Park your vehicles in a well lit area.
If your van is on a drive ensure it is backed up close to a wall.
Fit sensor alarms to the doors of your van.
Call the police if you see any suspicious behavior in the area.
