New Year Volunteering Opportunities

Alert message sent 04/01/2019 08:33:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear NW Co-ordinator,

In 2018, The South Derbyshire Division Neighbourhood Watch Association at St Mary's Wharf Police Station had a complete remodel of the way we work. We said goodbye to some old friends and welcomed some new and enthusiastic trustees onto or board which was extremely positive.

Now 2019 is upon us and we are all just about adjusting back to 'normality', we are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join us on the board of trustees and also to assist us in delivering Neighbourhood Watch training packages to local communities (including your own).

Full training and travel expenses will be given to anybody who wishes to join us on our journey to bring neighbours together to create strong, friendly, active communities across Derbyshire.

These roles are not time consuming but are extremely rewarding and make a true difference to the people that we assist in the local community. We hold board meetings 4 times a year at Derby and will be looking to hold various monthly training sessions for co-ordinators who wish to take the opportunity up.

If you would like some more information or would like to sign up to be a Neighbourhood Watch board member/ ambassador for South Division, please feel free to email me at SDivNHW@outlook.com and we can arrange to speak about the opportunity further.

Happy New Year!

Dan Beadell
