Information sent on behalf of Surrey Police

There will be a Selecta DNA Surgery at the Windle Valley Centre in Bagshot from 9am to 3pm.   Two PCSOs will be in attendance to issue the kit, demonstrate how it is used and assist with the registration process.  The only criteria for the issue of these free kits is that those receiving the kit must be able to prove that they live in Surrey.  If you are unable to attend but you are interested in being given a kit free of charge please email Surreyheath@surrey.pnn.police.uk  (Nb you need to Ctrl+Click to follow the link).  Further surgeries in Surrey Heath are planned for later in September and details will be available on the Surrey Heath facebook site https://twitter.com/SurreyHeathBeat (ctrl+click) when the details have been finalised.

SelectaDNA is a DNA Forensic Property Marking kit designed for home and small office use.  The kit marks up to 50 items of property including TVs, Smartphones, Desktop PCs, Laptops, Digital Cameras etc with a unique formula of DNA, UV tracer and microdots.  Criminals view items marked with SelectaDNA as too high risk and are further put off from stealing them as they have little or no resale value.  Using SelectaDNA to mark your property is the ultimate theft and burglary deterrent.  For full details see https://www.selectadna.co.uk/dna-asset-marking/selectadna-home-kit (nb use ctrl+click)
