Appeal for information following burglary

Alert message sent 10/08/2018 13:26:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We're appealing for witnesses to a burglary to help us track down two vehicles stolen during the break-in at a property in Winterbourne Bassett.

Sometime yesterday (09/08), unknown offenders entered the address and then stole a red Mini Countryman and an orange KTM SX450 off road motorbike.

The index of the Mini, which also had a camping box on the roof, was WR18 ZZA.

Pictures of the car and the bike are in this link.

Sgt James Twyford said:  "We'd like to hear from anyone who may have heard or saw anything suspicious in this area yesterday - it's a quiet village, so anything or anyone out of the ordinary would have been obvious.
"Also, did you see the car or bike being driven and ridden in the area?   Perhaps driven at speed?
"If anyone sees either vehicle please contact us immediately."

If you can help with our enquiries please contact Sgt James Twyford on 101, quoting crime reference number 54180074948, or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
