24 hr Crime Update

Good afternoon E-coppers,

We are investigating the following crimes that were reported within the last 24 hours.






GREAT SHELFORD – Cambridge Road

A Burglary occurred between 22:00 and 22:30 on 10/07 the rear conservatory window of a house was forced open. It is unknown at this stage what has been stolen.


SAWSTON -Babraham Road

Criminal damage occurred on 10/07 at 06:00, A vehicle’s door & rear wing was badly scratched, the wing mirror smashed and tyres were slashed or let down on passenger side as yet undetermined. 


GREAT SHELFORD – Granta Terrace

Between 18:00 on 09/7 and 13:00 on 10/7 three very deep scratches were caused to a Jaguar car and the tyre of a Mini Cooper car was punctured.


FULBOURN – Teasel Way

Between 07:30 and 09:20 on 10/7 the front door of a house was forced open and a search of the house was conducted. It is unknown at this time what has been stolen.


STAPLEFORD – Babraham Road

Whilst parked in a public car park between 12:07 and 13:00 on 10/7 a Renault Kangoo was entered by unknown means, a debit card, credit card and driving license was stolen from the glove box and the purse placed back in the vehicle.


GREAT SHELFORD-Macaulay Square

Between 23:30 on the 09/7 and 08:00 on the 10/7 a Citroen dispatch vehicle tyres were slashed.


FULBOURN – Apthorpe Street

Between times stated 29/06/2018 18:00 to 09/07/2018 18:00, bay window lead roofing was stolen from a property.


SAWSTON- Dales Manor Business Park

On 10/7 at 03:00 the passenger and drivers’ side window of a blue Volkswagen van was smashed and the vehicle searched.





TRUMPINGTON - Berwick Place

Between 10:00 on 01/5 and 18:00 on the 09/7 the window and door of a blue ford fiesta was smashed and damaged.


WHADDON – Church Street

Between 17:30 on 09/07 and 08:30 on 10/07 a business premises was broken into and a wood chipper was stolen.






SETCHEL DROVE - Cottenham (theft)

Between 09/07/2018 at 18:00 and  11/07/2018 at 09:00hrs.

Unknown offender(s) have gone  in to a field off setchel Drove and stolen pieces of metal from a farm machinery in the area.


OAKINGTON ROAD - DRY DRAYTON (attempted-business burglary)

On the 09/07/2018 at 23:15hrs, Unknown offender(s) have attempted to break in to a container at the location mentioned holding a mini digger.
