Suspicous male removing post

There has been recent information on social media in relation to a male approaching residential homes and removing post from external wall mounted post boxes.

The police are currently investigating this and have liaised with the post office and local residents. We have had some good information and photographs sent in from members of the community and we are following up on all of this information as it comes in.  

If you are a victim of fraud then the first point of call is to contact Action Fraud in order to obtain a reference number. You may then call us on 101 and quote the reference number from Action Fraud to receive a crime reference number.  

We will update you with any further information in due course.

If you see any suspicious activity or crime please contact police on 101. In an emergency call 999.
