November 2017 Leen area update

Hello residents

 

I am writing to let you know about crime in the Leen Police Beat area during November 2017.

 

We have had 2 burglaries on Forster Street walk in burglary insecure door and Midland Way forced entry to front door.

 

We have had 9 reports of theft from/of motor vehicle on Templars Court, Dulwich Road, Wordsworth Road, New Road, Prospect Street, Saint Peters Street, Norwood Road, Rifle Street and Midland Way.

 

We have had 6 offences of Criminal Damage on Hopedale Close, 2 of which were on bottom end of Alfreton Road and 3 of which were on Forster Street.

 

We have had 1 report for theft of bicycle from Grimston Road.

 

We have had 1 report of robbery on Dulwich Road, silver Rolex wrist watch stolen.

 

We have had 1 shed break at the rear of Tesco Express Ilkeston Road, alcohol taken.

 

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK YOUR VEHICLES AND REMOVE ITEMS FROM WITHIN
